This guitar lesson got weird (in a good way)

Hey Reader,

I just dropped a new guitar lesson — and this one’s a little different.

🎸 It’s Bésame Mucho, the timeless Latin ballad we all know and love…
But this time, I’m joined by none other than Pythagoras himself — yep, the ancient Greek philosopher playing guitar, in a wild, time-traveling duo.

This one’s part sketch, part serious lesson, and surprisingly educational. Expect a few laughs and a lot of musical insight.

I've used Pythagoras previously for my narrated lesson only, but I felt like doing one musical one as well. What can I say - I like the guy. it's the guy who may have invented music theory all together!

While he lays down the chords, I dive into a close-up solo breakdown — exploring the beauty behind this iconic melody.

And yes, I threw in an upright bass line to really bring out that vibe.

It’s playful, musical, and totally unforgettable.
Let me know what you think.

Stay playful,
Vedran

Hi Reader! A brand-new guitar arrived the other day in the studio — the Donner HUSH-I Pro (Hawaiian Blue edition) — and today I posted a full unboxing + sound test on YouTube. I was honestly surprised by how good this thing looks in person, and the plugged-in tone is better than I expected for a travel/silent guitar. If you’re curious what comes in the box and how it sounds straight out of the package, check it out here: 👉 Watch the video In the video I go through: 🎁 unboxing 🔧 quality +...

Ancient Greek Modes

How did the modes got their names? This short animated video reveals the ancient origins of the modal scale names - who named them and how they evolved through time. More likely, they simply lacked alternatives. By then, the original Greek modal frameworks had fallen out of common use - so they were "free to...

Hello my friend! I got back in the studio with fresh new.. well, everything! I got my new studio fully operational, and just in the right time: Guitar making company Donner reached out to me the other day and asked me to test out their new guitar, the HUSH I PRO Hawaiian Blue - a beauty! The model is still not even released to the public (it will be on November 20th) but I got my hands on it, it was shipped all the way from China ahead of their official release. Their new HUSH line comes...
